3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the SequenceMail Service.
- Authenticate users and connect authorized Gmail accounts.
- Send emails and automated follow-ups as requested and configured by you.

- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
4. Google API Services and Gmail Data
SequenceMail accesses Google account and Gmail data through Google APIs. The following describes how we handle this data:
- SequenceMail accesses Google account and Gmail data only after you explicitly authorize access through the Google OAuth consent flow.
- Google user data is used only to provide user-facing features that you have requested, such as sending emails from your connected Gmail account, tracking email engagement, and managing sequences.
- SequenceMail does not sell Google user data to any third party.
- SequenceMail does not use Google user data for advertising purposes.
- Access to Google user data is limited to the permissions necessary to provide the Service’s functionality.
- You can revoke Google account access at any time through your Google Account permissions settings.
SequenceMail’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Chrome Extension Data Usage
The SequenceMail Chrome extension uses specific browser permissions to provide its core functionality:
- Storage permission: Used to store extension settings, authentication state, preferences, and temporary application data locally in your browser.
- Side panel permission: Used to display the SequenceMail interface within Chrome’s side panel for convenient access.
- Host permissions: Used to communicate with the SequenceMail backend API and to support approved user-initiated functionality on supported websites (such as lead importing from LinkedIn).
- Website content access: Accessed only where required for user-initiated features, such as extracting lead information from a supported website when you explicitly initiate an import action.
Browser permissions are used only to provide the extension’s core functionality and are not used for purposes unrelated to the features described in this policy.
6. LinkedIn and Lead Importing
When you explicitly initiate a lead import from a supported website such as LinkedIn, SequenceMail may process publicly visible professional information required to create a lead record, including:
- Name
- Job title
- Company
- Profile URL
- Other information explicitly selected or provided by you during the import process
Lead importing is always user-initiated. SequenceMail does not continuously monitor your browsing activity or automatically scrape website content in the background. Lead data is processed only when you take an explicit action to import a lead.
7. AI-Powered Features
SequenceMail may use third-party AI services to generate personalized email introductions or other outreach content when you explicitly request this feature.
When you use an AI-powered feature, certain information may be sent to the AI provider to generate the requested content. This may include:
- Lead information such as name, job title, and company, to personalize the generated content.
- Context or instructions you provide for the generation request.
AI-generated content is created on demand at your request and is used solely to provide the feature you initiated. We recommend reviewing any AI-generated content before sending it.
8. Data Sharing and Third-Party Service Providers
SequenceMail may use trusted third-party service providers to support the operation of the Service. These may include providers for:
- Cloud infrastructure and hosting
- Authentication and identity management
- Google API integration
- AI content generation
- Email delivery and processing
- Analytics and performance monitoring

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of SequenceMail, our users, or the public.
9. Data Storage and Security
